about Caitlin
As an enthusiastic and dedicated Investigations Case Manager and Paralegal for the Investigations Group at Forte Workplace Law, I bring a strong educational background to support my role. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UBC Okanagan. This provides me with a comprehensive understanding of social dynamics that underpin legal cases. Additionally, I have earned a Paralegal Diploma from Capilano University, and completed training in legal project management, equipping me with the necessary skills to excel in this field.
I began my journey at a small personal injury firm, dedicating three years to refining my skills and expanding my knowledge. Building on that foundation, I joined a prestigious national firm specializing in commercial litigation. I focused on domestic and international commercial arbitration for six years. In 2024 I joined the team at Forte Workplace Law where I have the opportunity to apply my education and experience to the important practice of workplace investigations.
Beyond my professional achievements, I actively engage with the legal community to drive its progress. I am a voting member of the BC Paralegal Association, and I am an instructor in the School of Legal Studies at Capilano University. As an instructor, I share my expertise in critical areas such as computer applications, legal document formatting, and legal office procedures. By imparting my knowledge and skills to my students, I hope to nurture and encourage the next generation of legal professionals.
Outside of work, I prioritize spending quality time with my husband and our beloved cats. Animal welfare is very important to me, and I spent several years volunteering with the BC SPCA.
